How can I pay when I don't have a credit card?
That's easy! For customers located in Guyana we have created the option to pay cash on delivery (COD), mmg or via bank transfer. Whichever is easier.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, American Express, Discover, Diner's Club, JCB and PayPal. This payment option is available to anyone with a valid credit/debit card from the abovementioned credit card companies or PayPal account. This is the only payment method accepted by PlaydateGy for customers purchasing items outside of Guyana with the intention of having them delivered in Guyana.
Mastercard is currently unavailable as a payment option but we are working with our Payment Service Providers to have this rectified.
For customers purchasing items from within Guyana, we also accept cash on delivery (COD), or Citizen bank transfer/direct deposit (which can be completed via your bank's online banking platfrom).

I don't live in Guyana, do you accept foreign currencies?
Yes we do. For local payments we accept GYD. For international and Credit Card payments we accept payments in USD, EUR and GBP. We use the most current rates of exchange available and rates are updated automatically.
For local payments made by Cash on Delivery or Online Bank Transfer - we convert the USD rates manually at a rate of G$210 to US$1.
Why are my product prices and my shopping cart displaying a total in GYD but when I checkout my total is in USD?
Please note that our store prices are set in USD. This is in place to facilitate credit/debit card transactions with our Third-party payment provider.
We accept GYD currency for local payment methods (Cash on delivery, Online Bank Transfers) however. To ensure a seamless transaction, we convert USD to GYD at a fixed rate of GY$210.00 to US$1.00.
For purchases made within Guyana, you will receive a GYD total in your confirmation email based on the above mentioned rate of exchange.

Great - we accept Guyanese payments (Cash on Delivery & Online Bank Transfers) based on an exchange rate of G$210.00 to US$1.00.
That is to say if you order an item worth US$10.00 you can calculate your G$ value by applying the below formula:
US$10.00 x G$210 = G$2,100.00
For purchases made within Guyana, you will receive a GYD total in your confirmation email based on the above mentioned rate of exchange.
I'm new to this, can you talk me through the order process from beginning to end?
No worries, we've got you!
Step 1: Select which collection you're interested in from the drop down menu at the top of the screen
Step 2: Browse the products until you find exactly what you're looking for. Click the image of the product to view more details like available colours and sizes
Step 3: Once you've select the perfect product for you or your baba, you can add it to your cart.
Step 4: Once you've finished adding all the items you want, head to your cart to begin the checkout process. Click Checkout at the bottom of the page when you're happy with your cart!
Step 5: On the check out page, enter the email address you'd like us to send updates about your delivery. Fill out the Shipping Information with your correct delivery address, name and contact number (this will help us find you and get your order to you quicker!)
Step 6: Select which shipping method best suits you and your location.
Step 7: Select the payment option you'd like to use to process your transaction
Step 8: Sit Back and relax while we do the rest! Your order will be with you in no time at all!

Can I place an order without creating an account?
Yes. You can place an order as a guest with no obligation to create an account. We do recommend that you create an account, however, if you’d like to check your order history and have your shopping basket items and payment details saved for next time. It’s quick and easy to create an account. Just click here and follow the instructions on-screen.
Where is my order confirmation?
This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. One of our representative's will also give you a call on the number provided just to confirm your details. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at sales@playdategy.com just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam, junk folder or search Playdategy in your inbox before contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.
Why has my order been canceled?
We typically only cancel orders if there’s a problem with stock, or if you’ve asked us to cancel. Please accept our apologies if your order is canceled because of a problem at our end. We’ll always offer an alternative product and process your refund in full, as quickly as possible. Please contact orders@playdategy.com for more information on your specific cancellation. Please include your order number in your email. Thanks!
How do I cancel my order?
There is only a short amount of time between when you place your order and when we start processing it. If you contact us straight away after ordering, via orders@playdategy.com, we may be able to cancel your order before it’s processed. If not, we’ll despatch your order and then you can return it to us if you wish upon receiving it. Please review our Refunds & Returns policy for further information and before you place any order.
Can I alter my order?
Sadly, we’re unable to modify your order once we’ve started processing it. If you need to order a greater quantity or an additional product, please place a new order online. If you've placed an order by mistake please contact orders@playdategy.com immediately to cancel your order.
When will my order arrive?
The arrival time of orders will depend on your location and delivery method selected. Orders in Georgetown typically arrive within one business day and are free of charge. However, Standard delivery for deliveries on the East Coast or East bank typically arrive in 1-2 Days. Please read more about delivery times and processing cut off times in our Shipping Policy.
What countries do you ship to?
Currently we only ship/deliver to Guyana. More specifically we ship within Region 4, Guyana between Diamond on the East Bank and Beterverwagting on the East Coast. Please review our Shipping Policy for more details.
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs depend on the area where the item is being delivered and how quickly you'd like to receive the item. We offer free next day delivery in Georgetown. Please review our Shipping Policy for more information on our rates and delivery zones.
Can I track my order?
Unfortunately you cannot. However, we’ll provide updates at every stage of your order. First we'll send you a confirmation email proceeded by a phone call from one of our representatives. Once the order has left our facility you will receive an 'out for delivery' notice. Finally, once the item as been delivered, you will receive a confirmation of delivery email.
After completing your checkout, you can opt to receive order updates by text (SMS) message as well by inputting your cell phone number.
You can also view the status of your order by checking the order status page available in any one of the emails we send you.
Finally, please contact orders@playdategy.com for any assistance regarding your order. Please be sure to include your order number.
Delivering to me can be a bit confusing, is there anywhere I can leave special instructions for your delivery team?
Yes, at the bottom of the cart page you can leave a cart note with specific instructions required to receive your order.
I am trying to enter my shipping details but I do not have a postal code, what do I do?
Most delivery addresses in Guyana do not have a postal code. That's okay, just fill out the tab with '000000' and continue your checkout.
I live in the US but want to buy a gift for my Aunty's Daughter who is about to have a baby in Guyana, what do I do?
That's fine and doable. All you have to do is select your product, proceed to checkout and enter the name, delivery address and correct telephone number of the recipient [this is different from your billing address]. We'll do the rest and let you know when the gift has been delivered!
**Please note that if you are based outside of Guyana, we can only accept credit/debit card payments. If you select another payment option [COD or Bank Transfer] your order will not be processed.
If you'd like to add a small gift tag [free], you can enter the information you'd like written on it in the 'Cart note' text box at the bottom left of your shopping cart.

I got an "Attempted Delivery" notification - what do I do?
If our delivery provider has tried to make contact to deliver your package and is unable to get in touch, your order status will be changed to Attempted Delivery. What does this mean for you and your product? At the end of his/her route, he will make another attempt to get in touch. If this too fails, the items will be returned to our warehouse where new arrangements for delivery can be made with a customer service representative. If an arrangement is unable to be made within 72hrs, the order will be cancelled and the items restocked. I've opted to pick up my order, but I can't make it myself. Can someone else pick up the order on my behalf?
Yes, of course they can. Here's what you'd need to do:
1. Shoot us a quick email orders@playdategy.com and let us know who is coming on your behalf. We want to make sure the right person gets your order!
2. Let them carry proof of payment/purchase (whichever is applicable) and a valid ID

I'm picking up my order, what documentation should I carry to the pickup location?
All you need to bring with you when collecting your order is proof of purchase (your order confirmation email will suffice - you can show the confirmation email from your phone as well; save paper - no need to print it!), proof of payment (if you have prepaid) and that's it!

Can I return or exchange an item?
You can absolutely return your item to us, within 14 days after receiving it, as long as it’s undamaged, unused and contained in its original packaging with all tags and labels attached. Whilst we do not offer exchanges, you can either request a refund or store credit. Please contact refunds@playdategy.com to begin the return process.
How do I return an item?
Please contact our refunds and returns team via refunds@playdategy.com. Providing the return is within the 14-day period and meets our return criteria, we will issue you with a return note by email. You need to print this off and attach it to the packaging of the product when returning it to us. Returns take 2-4 business days to process, but we will cover the cost of returning your item. Once the item has been assessed and approved we will process the refund or issue the store credit.
